J's Carry Out: Casual New American Dining in Emporia, KS

I was working in Emporia Kansas when I saw this little diner it's a tiny place with a drive through and some outside seating the staff were very friendly for the amount of people ordering and drive through they were very fast to get the food out to customers we had ordered to go but decided to stay after we sat down they brought my DBL cheese burger and tots the size of the meat was very good it tasted amazing the staff made sure are drinks were always full as they had free refills their menu had a variety of foods when we were done eating they offered us what I believe was a homemade vanilla ice cream cone if you area ever in the are I recommend you try this treasure of a place out also prices were very reasonable

Steak sandwich was pretty good. Took awhile to get through drive thru wasn't busy, but a bit to wait on food. No biggie though was good n HOT temp.

Awesome small drive thru tasty burger joint! Ite as a button. Crisp onion rings, tater tots, super nice people, snd pretty fast. My mushroom burger was great!!! Good quality . Loved it. Thank you!

J's is such a treat! We visit every time we are in Emporia! I love the nostalgia of the pin letter menu boards, the taste of the burgers, and the sweet service of people who know many of their customers by name and order. My drink was never less than half full, the servers made sure we had everything we wanted (and were extremely apologetic about the ice cream machine being broken), and they even encouraged us to move from the adorable round stools to a table when one became available. It's small, but in the best kind of way! J's is a small town burger joint that feels like a step back in time!

I got the double burger and tots, let me tell you what...this burger is better than i would make at home. That's saying a lot! It is a hole in the wall, but it is a great place to stop for a very delicious burger!!

Very friendly people serving us and as always, got our free ice cream of course while we were waiting. Love that. And food still amazing!

Alright Alright!! J’s is an Emporia establishment! Awesome burgers off the flat top, fries and onion rings! This place is a fantastic little carry out and dine in stop! Friendly folks and food cooked to order. A classic lunch and supper diner complete with a lunch counter.

They have some of the best burgers I've tasted, they are juicy but not greasy. All of their food is made fresh to order and their staff is very friendly. You will not be disappointed eating here and as a bonus you get an ice cream come with your order.
